The Aether is added properly to Minecraft, but becuase of how bland and boring it is it now just serves as a place to die of fall damage.

Your thousand clones are created on Jupiter. The 3x gravity pulls them through the gaseous surface until they eventually fall into the liquid hydrogen core and get frozen, of course after dying first of apshyxiation.
