Built a treehouse in three - four hours. Two stories, giant tree trunk (no head though, the top is burnt out) impaling the entire building. First floor is for living, second is storage for materials. I was traveling and at around 50k i got bored and just built an outpost.

So I figure since I've been playing on this server for quite a while I should actually show something for it. This is an old base that has been slowly evolving and growing into a monstrosity in between my other projects. It's big, ugly cobblestone structures that adhere to a 'form follows function' aesthetic. As such it has been dubbed Helter Skelter. I didn't build it completely myself, but I did a lot. You may know that I work with crackyjoe and miniwimi. We all still use this base. It has been found, but has really been untouched surprisingly. Miniwimi built a pretty badass mob farm to replace the one that crackyjoe and I had running. I've got an album on imgur to show the whole thing.

Crap, ours looks tiny now, I think it's only 51. I'll have to make up for it by adding some badass biodomes, I think a jungle and mushroom one might be neat.

I've almost hit bedrock ona 1/4 of it now using TNT for mining. It is going pretty fast!

box and i were digging a similar hole at damocles but there the idea was to make it look like a hole in the ocean where the floating land was lifted up out of the sea floor. we never finished it though.
