Ofc the problem stems from your mac, You're a fucking idiot if you buy a mac. You pay nearly 4x the price for a mac than you would the same price for a PC. Why don't you locate the problem with google? Because unless we're right there, we can't do shit for you. Unless, that is of course you would like me to use TeamViewer and have direct veiw and manipulation of all your files. That would be fun for about 30 seconds before I found the command prompt and did format C:\.
tl;dr You've fucking exhuasted all your resources here, go google that shit and loose sleep over how you can't play minecraft.
Yeah something is obviously wrong on the server's end. It's slightly effectual to the server's popularity if people with Macs are going to have this problem and not play on it.
Wait never mind I still can't get in. I've tried everything guys.... I should just give up, but before I do, I highly suggest that you (admins, ops) look into this, because I'm betting that simpvp has some new update that seems to give macs problems. Please look into it. I love this server, and have been playing for a year now.

No, fuck you. You know why people don't make viruses for macs? Because why would you want to control all of the 3 mac users in the world?
Joefly, I'm sorry, but considering that it began happening exactly when 1.4.7 was released, I'm very heavily inclined to believe it has to do with the update.
I'm very curious as to how you downgraded, as downgrading should have solved the problem.
I don't know what you want us to do about it, apparently you're the only one here having the problem, and nothing at all works for you.
Well actually it didn't start happening right when 1.4.7 came out. It actually started happening a little later when I began using the pvp world. In fact if I crash in the pvp world then I cannot access the server at all, not even for a second. I think there may be some bug or issue with the pvp plugin. I've seen this issue before on many different forums, where certain plugins will cause individuals to have problems. Now I'm not saying you should get rid of the pvp world, but perhaps evaluate this as true or at least a strong possibility.
And I also did downgrade to 1.4.6. I went into my minecraft folder then into bin and replaced minecraft.jar with the 1.4.6 minecraft.jar. It didn't work. I still had the same problem. So I think we can conclude that the 1.4.7 update had nothing to do with it, and that it most likely is due to some bug on the server.

So we're going to drag our asses through a field of cactus and then do a mile long swim through the dead sea while covered in leaches during winter just so you can get on the server?
