right, so lets get back on topic. Should we at least consider this an option?
Pros-
-everyone gets what they want
-no more bitching
Cons-
-we effectively split the server into two.
-no guarantee either will survive.

quick thought on admin support; i was an admin untill the limit came up. i quit because my heart was no longer in it. If this idea were implimented i'd move to the freedom server and being there i would once again be interested in protecting it from hackers. So in a way we could have more admin support for the other server.

Well, I'm not so much referring to catching hackers, but general maintenance, updates, backups, etc. It might not seem like much, but it adds up and ends taking a lot of work.

Yukar is right, if we have 2 servers the quality of both would be decreased. If someone else hosts it, it would basicly be starting a new server and taking a big chunk of simplicity with it. Also I like many of the players that are for and against the limit, it would suck to not be able to talk to everyone on a single server like we can now.

more work for al the OPS and mods, and it decreases player capacity. Only pros is that the ones against the limit will stop bitching about it.

u forget the pro that the ones for the limit will stop bitching to.. (probably not doh) when did this debate turn personal?
