All this limit has done is increase the amount of xrays not PvP. If people want to PvP, they PvP. If they don't, they don't. Short of a 100 block limit, nothing would change this.

However, the arguments we have for the limit:

- Increases PVP and player interaction
- Decreases the amount of people very far out not wanting to do anything

Arguments Against the limit:

- Increases the possibility of X-ray attemtps, with higher player traffic in a smaller area
- Decreases the amount of natrual land or naturaly generated biomes that players can explore
- Creates a sense of confinment (though this isn't very important)
- Decreases the amount of very limited natural resources (I.E, Mycellenium, Mooshrooms, Others of the type)
- The area inside the limit becomes increasingly more devastated as more and more players remove blocks.

I think that's a gross oversimplification.

Before the limit there was quite literally no pvp, at all.

Lone, the confined area? Seriously? Confined? You can find completely untouched land, it's not hard, there's a lot more to go exploring for than 200k blocks from spawn. Only entertainment left? Unless you've explored the entire current map in it's entirety, don't say exploring isn't an option. That's just stupid.

With regards to xray, build practical instead of aesthetic bases. Use your mind, simply building a base underground doesn't mean it's impossible to find.

no pvp? bullshit there have always been fighting around spawn. but even if it wasn't u have the choice. nothing stopping u from pvp... if there is no pvp none wants it.. its one thing if the server was full all the time with people not pvp but thats not the case now so why punish people who dont want to pvp. and as i said the only increase the limit have given me is in xray .the last thing about xray.. its still an argument against the limit that u have to build ur base in a certain way to have it protected from cheats.. its not a solution. even if this is a pvp server its still a aesthetic game...

No waron, I'm saying people shouldn't waste this servers resources playing singleplayer.

mitte, I'm not bullshitting you, there really have been periods where there was no pvp at all, at that time everyone was building pretty aboveground buildings far from spawn.

mitte, I don't want to punish people who don't want to pvp, this server isn't solely about pvp. However I do want to 'punish' people who just play singleplayer.

Finally, complaining about having been xrayed if you decide to build an aesthetic base is like complaining about losing your diamond after having decided to build a diamondblock house right next to spawn. Without build protection everybody is forced to build their base in a certain way, you've without a doubt already accepted this by building your base underground.

This is quite literally a huge lie.

And stop bitching about people that want to play the game there way. For me, i'd love to have a nice team to play with again but your limit has forced me to play (as you say) single player. Just because people don't like you and don't want to play with you is no reason to force them to do things your way. how are people ever to find people to play with, without first playing by themselves? And you provide no evidence to suggest there was an increase in pvp. Just like before you make completely backless arguments.

xestia if u build a diamond house right next to spawn LEGIT people are going to raid it. i build my base under ground to stop LEGIT players to find me. its a huge difference. i dont want to live in a dark ugly hole
