Sure. I was suggesting several mechanisms that would allow trade, but not utilization. What is allowed or not, I've not been paying as much attention to.LoneSoldier55 wrote:Re-read. It says enchanted armor, not all enchanted items.

Wish I had seen this thread earlier - I'm strongly against it. The only reason I enchant armor and swords is to either fight with, or trade with, in the pvp world.

Risk of removal of enchanted gear. Repeat offenses would be exploiting a known bug and should be dealt with not permanently, but with a timed ban.

I think if we're going to implement this we should do it all or nothing. If you ban 1 potion ban all if not don't ban any. Same for the swords/tool/armor, if you ban 1, ban all or don't ban any.
Re: Fixing pvp: The case against enchantments
Instead of taking or unenchanting items, maybe when you use /world a message tells you that you have items you cannot take?
But I also think this is adding a few too many rules... If you are annoyed by ppl in invis and diamond armour then make your own and get them back

This is not the issue at hand. If Operators catch people moving enchanted gear into the /world via any hole in the game, they risk getting the gear removed and destroyed on their person. We have already compromised that a message would be displayed if your inventory detects any enchanted gear.
The other problem with this is that Protection Armor, Sharpness V swords, and Power V bows are usually only obtained by, not through the hard work of slaying mobs, but the repetitive task of lagging out the server and hitting mobs in the feet.
Read all arguments before you post please, 3/4 of this is redundant.
