I did say *one of* the first. Although one could argue that Zoroastrianism posited a struggle between good and evil that man was expected to help out with, I never really got the feeling that the Zoroastrian god (gods? depends on how you consider Mind vs Body aspect, but I digress) was all that personally interested in mankind.

That said, it's been a while and my study wasn't all that deep, perhaps I'll go back and take another look.

it seems like gods because when it translates, words used as names stay the same so ahura mazda sounds like a god but it just means life and wisdom. The things which seem to be names of gods are just aspects of the divine. And it doesn't focus so much on the divine interest in mankind it is more about man taking an interest in the divine. But god is still a universal being of love and goodness. I think Aken Aten tends to get credit for the first known monotheism when he decided all egypt should worship the aten. I'd love to learn more about that but there's not to much available on it

My reaction to you posting such a dumb video.
I am totally serious, if you seek wisdom, read the Bible guys.
I find it sad that religious people are protesting against others rights instead of for their own.

'If there is a god, he will have to beg for my forgiveness' -Carved into a wall at a jewish concentration camp Maybe this will make you understand my/our point of view better.

Don't be mad at God bloop. Try to understand this; God took pleasure in all of His creation (Revelation 4:11), but He loved people most of all. He uses the deterioration of the created universe to show us the consequences of our sin. If we did not experience the consequences of our rebellion against the Creator, we would never understand that we need salvation from our sin, and we would never receive His offer of mercy for our sin.
