people can just easily arrange a fight without a limit. the soul purpose of the limit was to increase pvp by way of limiting the space in which people can be found. To this end it has completely failed. we had six of us in my old team i belive

The amount of PVP happened while there's 12 people online for 3 hours isn't bad anyway.

The only people who weren't spawn rats or 50k + blocks away from me, from what I know, were;

Imicus
Plankerman
mannipanni
YoungsMC
FoSchnizzle
assas170
inkler
sykez420

assas170, inkler, and sykez420 were already occupied with fighting FoSchnizzle at that time. Apparently scheduled meetings don't count, so that only leaves

Imicus, Plankerman, mannipanni and YoungsMC. Even if there was Imicus vs. YoungsMC during those 3 hours, that would be 1/2 of the people who count fighting. It could be everyone fighting if Imicus brought his entire team with him. So I don't think 0 fights, considering that scheduled meetings don't count, means anything during these circumstances.

i'm just trying to provide what evidance i can the other side provides none. i would speculate to say that these results are typical whenever i'm online. i do not see very many death by player messages when i'm on.

People shouldn't have to be forced to kill each other, you know. It's only an option if you want to be agressive.

Simplicity is supposed to maintain a vanilla aspect, which means the way the game was origonally developed. Of course, there are some shortcoming in things like hack detection that have to be solved, but it doesn't mean that the game was origonally intended to have everyone kill each other. People will PvP when they choose, and I'll choose to do so once I find eden.

The world boundary keeps players inside an area where it's actually possible to have interaction with other players. If someone goes out far enough that PVP is out of the question, then that's where the World Boundary starts helping and adding more PVP to the server. If Lone can go out 10k or so to Eden and can still contribute that's fine, which is why it started at 5k just to test/see how far the limit should go out. The world boundary doesn't force anyone into PVP, it limits people from playing Single Player.

edit: Evidence? Ok I have a heroic story about coincidentally running into someone in the 4-5k range.
I was branch mining, and then I found some crazy cave with torches I'm sure I hadn't placed. So I kept following the torches in hope that it was connected to someone's base. I then found a weird cobblestone wall. I dug a few blocks out and found a dark room filled with water at the floor and a cave spider spawner in the middle of it. This was an XP farm so I went to the collection point, and found the dudes base. Then I raided it and stuff. Then he logged in and killed me. Then I respawned an quickly ran back there and killed him. 2 fights & one raided base right there.

I don't get it. Are you saying that this barely happens or that I spend too much time on the forums?
