(All that) / (Amount of time playing on the server)
Compare that to:

(All that) / (Amount of time playing on the server with a limitless map)

Tip: the second value is zero.
Thanks to the limit, I've had very few random encounters so far. Without it, I would have had zero. You, sir, have failed at applying maths to the real life.

As much as I love building, I love pvp, thats what this server is about. While the limit does increase the possibility of x-ray, I think that the compensation policy needs to be changed, not the limit.

Agreed - there are plenty of servers out there dedicated to building, and this is supposed to be a Hardcore server for Real Men - at least I see it that way. I still can't see the point of joining a PvP server and living 9999999 blocks away from the spawn to be able to build freely.

Any server geared towards building does not allow people to destroy others' buildings. Use a bit of tactics befriend someone you want to find the base of. There are ways of finding people no matter where they are. And if you're too much of a pussy to travel in order to find some one it's your own damn fault. I just can't stand that people voting to keep the limit don't give a single care about the facts. And the fact is that the limit was put up to create, some how, more pvp. And there is no evidence to suggest that pvp has increased by any noticeable amount.

I was branch mining, and then I found some crazy cave with torches I'm sure I hadn't placed. So I kept following the torches in hope that it was connected to someone's base. I then found a weird cobblestone wall. I dug a few blocks out and found a dark room filled with water at the floor and a cave spider spawner in the middle of it. This was an XP farm so I went to the collection point, and found the dudes base. Then I raided it and stuff. Then he logged in and killed me. Then I respawned an quickly ran back there and killed him. 2 fights & one raided base right there.
i have a similar story from before the limit 15000 blocks from spawn... i have not seen any evidence that the limit have given us more pvp.

Is this a joke?
To start, TheLea was in strong support of the limit. He's even been playing regularly for the past few days. The fact that you mentioned kienanners is the best part.

lavadude42, dpylz, TheLea are all playing regularly.

Why are a few of us repeating that we have no evidence that it's increased PVP? Xestia, Gnatogryz, pianiseemo, and I have all explained what we've seen of the map limit. It's not just those 4 people either. As pianiseemo has said feuds between rival groups have started. Anyone who knows Imicus can testify to that. Are we all part of a cult that lies about what happens on the server so we can introduce a map limit just to ruin everyone's fun? Do you want me to start video-taping myself playing minecraft?

Did you miss this part? I havn't seen TheLea online in a long time, Also Dpylz became so inactive that he quit being an op and now i've only seen him pop in and out quick once in a while. And just because people supported the limit doesn't mean they are not gone so no it's not a joke and there are still many on that list that you have no explaination for. Also gnat can't testify to seeing a change in pvp he's new. And feuds between groups don't require a limit. I am reminded of Fixional and his monolith clan (all gone now) were well hated and fought before there was a limit. So rather than nitpick about a few inacuracies in my statement how about you form some kind of evidence that the limit has increased pvp. Because pvp is no where near as active as it was when we had a spawn rat friendly spawn and strong advertisement with out a limit. If you could match old interactive rates like when we had a regular capped out at 50 population i would accept that the limit is usefull but so long as i know pvp was more active before the limit i must demand you provide some kind of proof to back up these fanciful claims.
