Illicit Diamonds

Hello. The other day, me and Gnatorgyz blew up a base in the sky in the pvp world. In the chest, they left 58 diamonds which I promptly transferred to my enderchest. After talking with some of the people on the server, they informed me that they were probably illicit, gained from x-ray, since they were dumb enough to build a base in the pvp world and that there's no way noobs could gain that many diamonds so quickly.

This is me being honest... *sigh*... and offering to give up the diamonds to an OP so they can send in the hazmat suits and soldiers and guard dogs, etc, and properly dispose of my precious plundered booty.

Don't know how you guys deal with this sort of thing, but I like this server quite a lot and would like to follow the proper procedures. I have no idea who's base it was.

If you feel they are illicit, feel free to burn them. I don't know our policy completely, but I know our admins, or at least gnat, are lenient when it comes to how we deal with this. My guess would be burn half of them and keep the rest.

We can't really be sure if those diamonds are legit or not. The important thing is that you got them in a legit way. So in my opinion, they're yours.

These might be legit. About a week ago I gave all my diamonds [about 60] to foshnizzle. he might've built a base and stashed his stuff there.
