Upcoming /world reset

Post by Yukar9 »

In the thread about the last map reset, it seemed a majority wanted the pvp world to be a fresh, unedited map. My first question is, is this still the case?

Secondly, there was some hate about the wall. Would a floating map be better? Meaning it's just void beyond the borders, but without an actual wall?

Finally, the seed. Should I just find a nice seed with a good bit of land, but also a bit of water? Requests for any specific biomes? Or a specific seed somebody might suggest?

I like the idea of void beyond the boundary. I vote that (if possible) we should have some plains, maybe extremehills, desert, and forest.

i like the void idea. No glass roof. Make it a tad bigger like R+50. Find a place on a map where three or four biomes come together and use a spot like that. Put a stronghold in the ground. Put a poor unfortunate testificate town in it. (remove treasures from these places though) And through in temples if a suitable biome is used. That's all i got

What do you mean by no void?

No, people would not be able to build outside the limit.

How about a superflat map? I'd like to see a place where everything in it comes from the players, and you wouldn't need to put up any visible barriers because it'd be obvious where the pvp area ended.

What exactly do you mean about that with the border?
