Nether roof is not an intended addition to the game.
Ban it, its fucking annoying for people to not risk anything and cover 8 times the distance they normally would.

You do risk dying when atempting it, suffecation. Happend a lot of times.

At which point you can go back and grab your stuff easily. Instead of potentially falling into lava and loosing it all.

There's far less danger in traveling on the roof then there is traveling normally.
On the roof, possible suffocation damage, at which point you can easily grab your stuff back.
Normally,
Falling damage, Damage from mobs, lava, being set on fire.

Look up the definition of a glitch, it can be something developers did not intend to be in the game, and they obviously don't intend you going through the bedrock roof using a minecart. That is irrefutable, and you know it. Just because a glitch or exploit is not outright harmful or bad does not mean it should be taken advantage of.

What about the people who went out far legit? I hit 200k by just digging a tunnel there, I don't think I should be moved back for that.

Just make it so nobody can build on top of the bedrock so they're stuck there if they really want to get up.

I still don't see how it's bad. Be more specific why you want it banned.

Almost everyone on this thread has given their reasons for why it's bad, some of them seem pretty specific to me, I don't get why you want nether roof travel so bad?
