Where is your base?

Of course nobody shall tell others where his/her base really is, but I'd like to know how far from spawn people really are...

I'm about 3000 k from spawn and I'm surprised no x-rayer or raider has found me. My base IS underground and it's impossible to tell where it is from the outside.

My first 2 bases were about 2k from spawn. Both raided before I had a chance to build them up. (One seemed to be griefed by an x-rayer.) Now I'm more than 5k away. Still not griefed even 2 other players passing or living nearby. By now, I found 1 fully equipped base of another person more than 5k from spawn, one intact base direct at spawn, and many other stuff left behind by someone somewhere. I wonder what the future will bring.

my base is a giant castle 2k from spawn its been griefed a number of times but its still operational.

I also have a massive tunnel network which starts next to spawn and goes off in a number of directions for a few 1000 blocks, its linked up to other peoples tunnel systems and some other bases as well.

Remember X squared + Z squared = Distance from spawn squared. That is to say use the panthagrean (?spelling) theorem on your x and z coords to find a straight line distance from spawn.
