For most life forms the main drive is to preserve life. So if a creature were to destroy it's self, it would be assumed that it is doing so for the preservation of others of it's species. Such as a worker bee dies using it's stinger in defence of the hive. As no one has ever seen the mating habbits of creepers i the wild, nor a juvinile creeper, one can only speculate on the family style of the creeper. At times many creepers may be seen moving at once in small packs or heards. Yet lone creepers also tend to be common. No study has defined the gender of creepers and it may be that the males do not stay with the pack. Creepers are often found in cave and seem to spring up from the ground some times when they appear.
Upon examination small amounts of gun powder are found in the creepers body, a mixture of sulfur, charcoal and saltpeter. The diet of the creeper is unknow. There seems to be a catalyst in the creepers blasting organs to amplify the explosion as the gunpowder found in a creeper's body is not enough to produce such an explosion. Creepers never bite their victims and they are presumed to be herbavours. While also feeding on mineral deposits. Defending a rare food source may also be a reason for why they are willing to die in defence.
Creepers have only been know to attack humans unprovoked. It is thought that this is due to inherrited fear from a long evolution along side the human race. Yet it does not share this fear with the similar, yet gental, testificate species. Even the more hostile creatures are only attacked when they harm a creeper.
Maybe they've just been promised an after life full of virgins

Perhaps creepers contain Male and Female reproductive organs.
Re: What is a creeper?
creepers are a science experiment gone wrong. in a attempt to clone pigs. and they soon got lose.
they live primary under ground where they eat cool and and by some reason produce sulfur and saltpeter as byproduct in the food processing.
they dont have sex. they split like an single cell life form.

As they split, they begin to evolve, and THEN grow dicks and pussies.

The idea of reproductive cloning did occur to me. It has not been know as a form of reproduction for all that many multi-cellular lifeforms. But if lesser creatures can do it, then there is no reason that a larger complex creature could not.
As for saltpeter (pottasium nitrate KNO3). Potasium can be derived from sea water and nitrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere.
