multiworld making travel too easy?

Post by waronchickens97 »

I just thought, couldn't people use the pvp world to hold items while they travel 50k to build a new base? This would mean they could bring as much stuff as they wanted to formentioned base, not just an inventory full. This would completely kill the difficulty of moving outside the limit. Just putting it out there. Not sure how this could be fixed but I think it would be quite a problem.

Very simple: ill explain it in stages.
1: you gather your stuff in normal world
2: you tp to PvP world
3: 1k out in PvP world you put stuff in a chest
4: you to back to real world, get more stuff, store in PvP world
5: repeat until all of your stuff is stored in PvP world
6: walk to the site of your new base in normal world
7: tp back to PvP world
8: bring your stuff back to the normal world 1 inv at a time.
This let's you bring more than one inventory to a new base far away.

That's a good idea but i think the risk of storing stuff in the pvp world evens things out. I oudn't mind moving less important stuff that way but i certainly wouldn't risk my treasure hoard by bringing it into the pvp world.

There is nearly no risk rev; if you build the room at let's say x1000 y8 z 1000 the chances of being stumbled upon are Tiny. Also, the treasure would only be in your inventory for seconds as as soon as you tp you stick it straight in your chest and tp back

But chests won't be protected in the pvp world.

Few people will have to move more than 2 inventories anyway, so I don't really see the problem, the profit is marginal compared to the risk.

in such a small area thereis a good chance a wayward pvper could see your name tag while you are in the pvp world. and i don't think the corners are going to be the safest places by any means. Also need to leave your hoard unattended in the pvp world while you travel to your new home in the main world. I see many oppertunities to get your shit stolen by trying to move this way.

I hope the cooldown and warmup for the PvP world will be high (From what I heard it will be).
