It's not the providers fault, the server isn't rented as a minecraft server.

It crashes because minecraft is generally just poorly made, it errors very easily.

Already written a script that checks status (for website frontpage) but it only works so and so, the problem is minecraft can error in so many ways. Sometimes java crashes completely, sometimes it just won't let anybody load the map. This is why the server lists sometimes list it as being checked online even when nobody can connect.

Less than an hour anyway. All servers down, not just Simpvp.net.
