Do you even le may may sites?
Reddit is full of circle-jerking faggots and egotistical voting systems.
9gag Is full of the sum of reddit that got rejected
4Chan is full of "Check my Dubs", ">Implying", "Op is a faggot", and similar things, however it really depends on which board you go to. I.E, /b/ is usually a shitstorm, /v/ is alright, /mlp/ always has the same fucking threads all the time.
7chan is straight from the depths of hell
Memebase will take any idea and image macro it. Even the ideas that are most obvious that everyone would think of, and it wouldn't be very funny, still frontpaged.
Knowyourmeme at least provides useful and unbiased Enteries to, how you'd say, "Internet Phenomenon".
Funnyjunk is just for clueless girl tweens who don't know the inter-machanations of the internet.
I think I summed it up.

You make it seem like there are no original websites. I'll give you /mlp/. I bet 99% of the horse fuckers there don't even fuck actual horses.LoneSoldier55 wrote:>not 7chanBloop the poop wrote:FIGHT

Re: Reddit vs 9gag vs 4chan
The problem is that there is no one site that will always be the origonal creator of everthing, but there's certaintly the sites that only copy or shift OC around to make it look like theirs.worldruler086 wrote: You make it seem like there are no original websites. Anon image boards like 4chan easily make OC Because of how easy it is to post, so therefore more people are inclined to share opinions. /b/ usually gets most of the OC because the rules are quite literally, "zomg noen!11!", so anything goes. Although with the shitstorm that it is I'm surpised it gets the most net traffic.
/v/ is usually limited to discussions of old games, debates of that consist of beating dead horses with other dead horses, and usually any vidya-related news. It's a decent board, but it's usually shit because there's not a whole lot of OC coming into it. Also, you're not allowed to discuss videogames on /v/. Also, /vg/ was only created because /v/ is a shit board.
/mlp/ is funny the first few times, inb4 IWTCIRD, but it consistantly posts the same threads on a day by day basis. You just have to look at "Anon in Equestria: Thread 763" to realize how long some of these threads go on, and usually none of them accomplish much.
Boards like reddit are usually biased and therefore a circle jerk because of the Karma system, which attempts to rate people based on their posts but brings around the wrong idea of rating someone merly because of their opinons.
9Gag and Funnyjunk are really just imageboards without much user input, and what user input it is isn't usually worth merit.

Re: Reddit vs 9gag vs 4chan
How exactly does 4chan work? It seems simliar to redditt, but what sort of content will I find in /b/ and /v/? They don't give much context. Also, whats 7chan? I'm assuming OC stands for original content.LoneSoldier55 wrote:>not 7chanBloop the poop wrote:FIGHT

Re: Reddit vs 9gag vs 4chan
I'll give you the default subreddits, but the thing I like about reddit is there are smaller subreddits that you can actually discuss shit. (though that starts to change REALLY FAST when the subreddits get more well known.)LoneSoldier55 wrote:The problem is that there is no one site that will always be the origonal creator of everthing, but there's certaintly the sites that only copy or shift OC around to make it look like theirs.worldruler086 wrote: You make it seem like there are no original websites. Re: Reddit vs 9gag vs 4chan
You click on a post number, you type a reply, and you have the option to use a name, or to use a secure name, dubbed a "Tripcode". People who use names instead of Anon are usually Tripfags or Namefags. Tripcodes are used so one person can't impersonante another, and usually this is for threads where the OP is important to the progression on the posts. Or people who want to feel special, like RainboomCrash.Bloop the poop wrote: How exactly does 4chan work? It seems simliar to redditt, but what sort of content will I find in /b/ and /v/? Breaking any of the rules gets you a varying IP ban, usually lasting a day or more. This ban usually only prevents you from posting on that specific board, but if you break enough global rules you can be banned from posting on all boards. Super fucked up shit can get your banned from veiwing all boards, and ban evasion is asking for a law suit. I got banned from /mlp/ for posting "dubs", I.E seeing if your post number ends in repeating digits. Then scruffy, the janitor got pissed and deleted all the dubs from the thread.
