Well there's ALSO this thing called enchanted diamond armor.... ;p
No but really, i know you have a massive mob grinder rev somewhere out there, why don't you use it and get some blast protection and projectile protection on your armor?

Well my logic was this:

1) The 'vanilla' thing is having it on easy difficulty, so we'd actually be moving towards vanilla.

2) Monsters aren't hard killing anyway, even with fists, unless you're lagging.

1.Well, I was more going toward the "wasteland" feel, and in reality, since vanilla has all difficulties, it's less a question of "what's vanilla?" and more "what should we have?".

2. I'm more disappointed at the hunger problem. But I guess it's a minor grippe.

Just consider me a "no" on this vote.

I say no to this, only because I don't like the idea of hunger leaving people alive.

Uh, it leaves them barely alive. Half a heart. One punch. Bam. And towards rev, I mean when I say enchanted diamond armor use the exp that you may or may not get from killing the mobs in your grinder to enchant that badass dia armor of yours.

Seems more or less divided, we'll keep it as it is for now.

@RevStoningpot: I didn't have any problems like that. I can hit mobs very well an keep them away from me.

And with people like eric a.k.a. eggthief helping people everyday get a base set up, it isn't very hard for new players to get out assuming they are willing to accept the help. And i like the idea of having to worry about the hunger bar.
I Don't think it a real challange now, either.
