Yeah, I saw this before during my more, eh, "vulnerable" years, but I really despise his tone. His arguments, while noble, are faulty and make the assumption that A) we are doing these things because we're stupid, rather than political context (for example, one of the reasons we have such a high military budget is because we're NATO's response.), and B) things are not that fucking simple. We aren't really sure why the national student debt has been increasing, nor tuition, but one thing is clear, it's fucking consistent. It's been doing this a lot and one way to resolve it is to look for the problem and correct it. You guys have a public plan, that's great. But you also have an economy and a *populace* that doesn't mind getting taxed what would be ridiculous amount by most Americans. I'm not even going to touch Prisons. Also realize that we don't pay for our schools like Finland does. We pay for it via local property taxes and other funds, so shitty areas have shitty schools. We could spend more money but when you have 98 THOUSAND school systems, each wanting more shit, you'll have to spend more money just to make sure you spend moeny correctly. It's a complicated situation, and I'm not saying we're doing a good job. But throwing money at it just makes everything more bloated. And that's already a problem...

I was half expecting the 9GAG logo plastered at the bottom, that's exactly the kind of audience this picture caters to, people who oversimplify issues and think they're oh so intelligent or understand the issue as a result. well the sulution to this IS really simple.. hand over all ur military assets to us ( nordic countrys ) then we take ur military to take over ur country, when the takeover is done we make so that 80% of ur money goes to taxes we fix the schools we fix the healhcare ( obama care is a joke ) and the list goes on.
