The deathban world is a separate custom world added late 2014. It is accessed by using the /deathban command. It is based on the old hc.simpvp.net server.

The deathban world works in rounds lasting 1 week each. At the end of each week, the deathban world is completely reset. Player kills on the deathban world are counted, and at the end of a round, whoever has the most kills wins that round. When you die in the deathban world, you're teleported back to the regular overworld and will not be able to join the deathban world until the end of the current round.

The deathban world is completely separate from the rest of the server. With all players having completely separate inventories. Therefore dying in the deathban world does not affect you in the other worlds.

A list of rounds, with player points, is kept in List of deathban rounds.
