The event arena is a large plot located at 50k, 50k in the overworld made by admins. Besides spawn, it is the only protected place in the entire server.

It was originally created in 2011, before the server had support for additional worlds. In February 2014 a dedicated events world was created, completely inaccessible to regular players. All events were copied over to this world, and it is now the only place events are hosted. As such the event arenas location is no longer in use. It is however unlikely to be removed or reset, and will as such likely continue to remain where it is, unmodified.
