This has resulted in there being a lack of animals near spawn. If you aren't lucky enough to find animals, there are still other ways to get food, such as farming or eating rotten flesh. Where are all the trees?
In a server where fire, lava and even TnT is allowed, trees tend to be burned down near spawn. Trees are however also occasionally planted by experienced players. You can still find plenty of trees a bit off spawn, and you can also find wood relatively close to spawn in NPC mines.
Which ranks do you have?
We have only 3 ranks: Banned, default, and OP. Banned and default are rather obvious, OP is explained in a later section of this page.
