New Ishtar is a city founded by AtacFauxpas in the spring of 2022. Originally serving as a villager trading hall, the former outpost is now expanding into what can be considered an entire city. While lacking in any large farms, the city seeks to outdo its predecessor in terms of both physical size and influence on the server.

History

Founding

There was no exact date that New Ishtar was founded, instead the city grew organically. After regaining access to his account in February, AtacFauxpas returned to the server after a 1-2 year hiatus. Seeking to regear, he set out to create a villager trading hall which his previous solo base lacked, and built a villager breeder at the first village he could find. He also set up a pen of cows and sheep. While building these, AtacFauxpas realized that this location would actually serve as a good location for a base due to the natural materials found near it, including a large stone mountain and a spruce forest.

As time went on, AtacFauxpas would set up multiple utilities, such as a raid farm and /portals linking to other dimensions and spawn.

Growth

While the city grew rapidly under the sole administration of AtacFauxpas, he still sought to invite other people to the base in order to further encourage growth. He invited those who he could trust, and allowed them to invite anybody else that they would deem trustworthy.
