Admins

Ever since its inception on April 23rd, 2011, SimPvP has had a long history of different admins and OPs moderating and maintaining the server. The primary job of SimPvP admins is to enforce the three rules, and to ensure that things run smoothly and effectively. This includes jailing/banning hackers, addressing concerns regarding the legality of programs, imposing restrictions on particular actions, etc. Admins also have other capabilities unique to the server: they are able to host Events, and they can use certain commands like /checkonline, /servertell, and /say. Only admins can address the playerbase with the purple text that says [Server], and only admins can direct message a player with the [Server] function. As such, players should only trust confirmed admins with private or confidential matters.

Due to SimPvP's longevity, there have been a series of admins who have come and gone; some have remained in the position for years while others have only served for a short period of time. Below is a list of all recorded admins in SimPvP's history, in chronological order, including when they became admin, when they resigned / were removed, and other information. It is important to note that much of the information regarding the first few admins in SimPvP's early days has either been lost to time or heavily disputed, and record-keeping has only improved with time.

Currently, there are four admins: Yukarion, MisterStrawman, ostrich1414, and MoWobbler.
