Construction

The Triton project began on May 26th, 2023, with Laztec using bombing machines to create a large expanse, devoid of end islands and other obstructions. The next morning, the project was announced to The Order of Wilbur and Laztec and MoWobbler started constructing the foundations of the build. TheMustacheKing and Ssoup_Ssoup would soon join to aid the construction, and within two days the entire lower portion of the build was complete. SenorJeb, Korijenkins, and Nebuelaz arrived on May 29th to help build the central tower and its interior. Late that same night, the structure was finished and several players were invited to visit.

Design

The theme of the build takes inspiration from various mythologies, intending to be a Tritonic shrine of sorts. The bodies of water represent the remnants of Lake Tritonis, flowing out from the core of the monument.
The interior consists of three floors, interconnected by waterfalls, serving as an arena for sumo/sword-based fights. The interior walls of the tower create a satisfying geometric pattern when looking up towards the sky.

Artifacts

Floating platforms at the top of the tower hold two of the original indestructible end crystals, sourced from the main end island and transported via flying machines.
These end crystals emit a beam directed at the end portal, however this beam can only be seen when in render distance of the end crystals.
