ObamaCare is a God Bow (Minus the Punch II enchantment) with an interesting history owned by MrHolly.
Origins
Pre - ObamaCare
Before becoming the legend that it is today, ObamaCare was just an ordinary bow. It was originally made by Nikoxlas at his base, Phoenix. It was kept in storage until the day before the base was raided, when MrHolly stole copious amounts of gear along with the bow. It would be left in his ender chest for almost 2 months before it became the infamous ObamaCare bow.
Becoming ObamaCare
On October 16th, 2021, MrHolly was enchanting some god bows at his Enderman farm when he decided to make one without Punch II. He theorized that it would be easier to shoot a target multiple times if the target took minimal knockback. This bow was one of the bows he had stolen from the Confederacy almost 2 months prior. He decided to use this as his main bow, and asked chat what he should name it. SenorJeb recommended naming the bow "Penis", but MrHolly thought such a name was rather unoriginal. He went with the name ObamaCare, which was an inside joke between MrHolly and his irl friends back in middle school.
ObamaCare's golden days
From October 16-17, MrHolly would use ObamaCare to repeatedly kill the new player and YeeterMyPeeter recruit, Cocomellon. He would kill Cocomellon with this bow while spawn camping and bedtrapping him, while saying the phrase "You qualify for ObamaCare!"
The Obama-Scare Incident
Later in the day on October 17th, while MrHolly was spawn camping Cocomellon yet again, he was end-crystalled by jake276493 on the western highway just outside spawn. jake276493 took MrHolly's gear, ObamaCare included. After being killed, MrHolly was walking out of spawn back to his base when jake276493 shot him with ObamaCare. MrHolly was enraged by the fact that his hilariously named bow was in the hands of one of his rivals and being used by him, displaying its name in every death message. MrHolly would express his anguish from losing his beloved bow, by yelling "OBAMMMAAACAAAAARREEE NOOOOO!!!" in chat.
Getting back ObamaCare
Following this incident, jake276493 gave Cocomellon the gear that MrHolly dropped after his untimely demise, including the legendary ObamaCare bow. MrHolly figured it would be quite easy to get his beloved bow back, considering it was now in the hands of a gullible, insufficiently geared new player. As it turned out, getting the bow back couldn't have been easier. Cocomellon recognized how much ObamaCare meant to MrHolly, and took pity on him. He offered to trade ObamaCare for a generic godbow in /world. MrHolly accepted this offer and got his beloved bow back, however he never gave Cocomellon another bow in return. ObamaCare was now back in MrHolly's possession and he couldn't be happier.
Present Day
These days, ObamaCare is kept safe in MrHolly's ender chest, and is rarely taken out. It will most likely never be used in PvP again due to the risk of losing it. ObamaCare had a good run and quite a crazy life, but now the bow has to be retired for safekeeping.
