Castle Wurst is a castle in the greater spawn area that has stood the test of time. The original castle was built sometime in the early years of the server around the year 2013. It is believed to have possibly been built by Porkington. The base stood intact from the years 2013 to 2020, it received minor griefs, but it became a sanctuary for newer players. The year 2020 is very important to this castle as this is when a group of players decided to establish themselves here, one of them being OverFloyd and Wyborne. They repaired the castle to pristine condition as if it was brand new. A player by the name 4Pilot would be introduced to the server, and was told to visit his friends at this castle. He walked from spawn though the rough terrain and arrived at it's castle walls. Here he stocked up on food, and did some mining below the castle, this is where 4Pilot found his first diamonds. Though he quickly lost interest in the server and logged out, and so did the members who lived inside the castle walls. Late summer of 2020, Azdin would reek havoc on this castle, he mined every block of it, and in the end the castle was no longer there, as if it vanished into thin air.
``The original castle before the additions``
In late November of 2021, about 1 year and a half after the castle had any sort of activity, 4Pilot who had began to play the server a year before, decided he would embark on a project of rebuilding the castle to it's former glory. After 3 days of hard work the castle was back, and restored as if it was never removed. Though, 4Pilot, enjoyed rebuilding the castle so much, he wondered why call it quits when he could expand the castle, and add new walls and buildings, so he did. Over the next month 4Pilot would add 5 extra additions. The first addition spanned from November 21st to the 23rd. The second addition spanned from November 23rd to November 25th, this addition included houses, sheds, and various fields of wheat and carrots. The 3rd addition began on November 25th and this was the biggest addition yet. At this time this is where Wyborne, an old friend of 4Pilot's would rejoin the effort and began constructing a tower in the giant hole next to the castle that previously had provided stone for Suit's Tower. In this addition, it included a mob grinder modeled after the one found at Tamarisk. Next to it was a church inspired by the church found at Kudzu. Another building would be constructed that included a bridge. This is also when a group called The 88 joined in the effort and made their own addition to the castle. Here _DKC built a school and a house with aid from Lobster2337. They stood out, as the roofs were made of oak wood, as traditionally everything else was made of spruce wood. This large addition was eventually deemed complete on November 29th. The same day the 5th addition began, though the castle was seeing lightning progress it quickly died overnight, 4Pilot began building the walls for the 5th addition, but quickly lost interest. During this time Wyborne would work on perfecting his tower, it eventually became the largest and tallest building within the walls. Around May 30th 2022, 4Pilot began on finishing the walls of the 5th addition where he added a building in the center, that planned on being surrounded by a garden. The walls were finished, but filling up the terrain inside the walls with buildings never came to be. Sometime around the week of June 20th, 2022 the castle was blown up by an unknown player. It lasted 8 months untouched, though visited by various newcomers and people who stumbled upon it. It would not last forever. In 4Pilot's biased opinion it, not by size or land area, but by looks, was the prettiest and best looking castle spawn has seen.
