Monument
The GS Trading Co. Monument was a project started by Gsmack and 4Pilot. With an excess of obsidian due to SkullerG's new obsidian farm, they stirred up the idea to make a monument celebrating their wealth. They worked on the build server constructing a design everyone could agree on. They picked a location near spawn where they decided to build it on top of a mushroom island, just like so many of their bases were, and so they didnt have to worry about mobs. On June 7th, 2021 they began on flattening the entire island to have a clean building slate. That same day they had the island flattened. They began to build the monument with help from countless GS members, construction was quick as many members were willing to participate. The monument took over 120,000 obsidian to build and stretched from ocean level to y 250. A week later, on June 14th, the shell of the monument was completed. 4Pilot worked on the inner water pool, mining it down and making the hole to bedrock. SkullerG would eventually remove 100's of blocks of bedrock with a machine creating a large void hole. By the end of June the project was finished. Outside the monument were 4 gardens, then a circular wall of obsidian that went down into the ocean floor. The monument was a spectacle, and was something Azdin would not be able to remove just because of the sheer size. In the center were nether portals, though a few members recall wanting an end portal put in the center as a new permanent end portal location, but this never came to be.

Grief
Because of the proximity to spawn, 1590283112 found it and subsequently spawned multiple dozens of withers leaving the monument griefed. The monument stood griefed, and if that wasnt enough, in 2023, Aluminisin decided to completely cover the monument in a lavacast. That is where it stands today, underneath a mountain of cobble, not a single piece of obsidian can be seen.
