The Confederacy-Francis War was politically motivated war between the newly founded Confederacy of Man and the variant forms of the Church of Francis (being the Holy States of Francis & the Empire of Francis). The war would last for a few months & mostly consisted of PVP skirmishes and base griefs.
The conflict also pulled in the support of Francis' allies in G.S.F.W. As a result, COM would receive some support from YMP who was at the time trying to destroy GSFW (see The GS YMP Conflict of 2021).
History
Lead up to war
The rivalry between the members date back to 2020, during the second Hispanic panic when multiple Spanish players migrated to Simpvp. A lot of the new Hispanic players would eventually be integrated into the Church of Francis, but some would stay independent and maintain their distaste for the Francillians.
In 2021, these anti-COF players would return and create their own clan to rival the Francillians. COM stated on it's wiki that it aimed to "destroy the pagan cults (e.g the HSoF) and kill their leaders.", upon hearing this the Francillians impulsively declared war, thinking of it as a meme war.
Fighting starts
The beggining of the war consisted of Francis troops ambushing and pirating COM trades to varying success, COM troops were undersupplied and untrained at the time.
Nikoxlas offers a peace treaty
General Nikoxlas:
The war between the Holy States of Francis and the Confederacy of Man has led to one destroyed base of the Francillian States and many CoM trades interrupted or avoided due to the pirates of the HSOF. In view of this, the CoM offer this peace treaty to avoid the useless waste of more resources: the Confederacy is committed to avoiding further conflicts with the HSOF even despite our ideological differences, and we want the HSOF to behave the same. Despite this, we seek a slight compensation from the HSOF to compensate for what was lost to the pirates, which will consist of a shulker of totems, 2 stacks of ghast tears and 2 shulkers of gunpowder (shulkers not included). After this, peace will be made and both factions will be able to prosper without conflict.

On May 18th, 2021 Nikoxlas offered Lord1 a peace treaty asking for some items, saying that the HSOF owed them to the CoM because the CoM lost some trade opportunities due to the francillian pirates, a treaty which was refused. Then, Lord1 shared the treaty to other HSOF members and they laughed at it, because little did the Confederacy of Man know, Xexc had pretended to team with them to gain access to their base.
Xexc infiltrates COM
On May 17th, 2021 Lord1 playfully killed Xexc whilst at an HSOF event, Nikoxlas thought Lord1 betrayed Xexc and tried to recruit xexc to the COM. Xexc saw this as an opportunity to inside the COM and gain coords to their bases. In an effort to gain COM's trust, Lord1 let Xexc leak his abandoned industrial base Nova Prostate, which was a shitty mob farm & raid farm. This was successful and xexc gained the COM's coords.
On the 19th of may, a task force of Francillians lead by General Xexc & Supreme General Lord1 stormed the COM capital, stealing all their wealth and destroying all their mega farms. Thinking COM would capitulate, HSOF declared victory over the war, however COM wouldn't admit defeat and persisted in the war effort.
The Confederacy annex Three Words
On 8th June, the Confederacy found the griefed and abandoned Three Words, and annexed it as a part of the Confederated territory.
Final Francis attacks & the collapse of COM
During late August, Francillian spies had infiltrated COM ranks and acquired base coordinates. On August 27th, the Grand Imperial Army of Francis stormed both Confederacy Capital City and Phoenix. By this point COM had ran out of members so they capitulated and the Empire of Francis officially claims victory over the Confederacy-Francis War, with 2 COM members ending up defecting to the Francillian Empire.
