History

GS Base 1 was the first base GS Trading Co. would create. It was founded on June 13th, 2020 by 4Pilot. At this time only Gsmack and Redbaron1991 had joined simpvp for a few hours, but to not return. Then 4Pilot decided to rejoin the server on June 11th, 2020 where he decided he would embark on a journey out to explore spawns vast terrain of old oceans. 4Pilot decided on a trail he would follow around 20k out, which he would follow to well over 100k where the base was eventually made. He followed it using a boat, raiding, and taking valuable items he found at bases while on his journey. By the 13th 4Pilot found a location to settle down and invite his friends over from 2b2t, the first to follow was _Goujon_, who embarked through the nether to get to the location. The next to follow was Gsmack, then SkullerG would follow a few days later. The first thing to be built was an underground section by 4Pilot, then _Goujon_ would build a mob farm using a skeleton spawner. 4Pilot, with help, built a creeper farm to supply the group with rockets. SkullerG would work on a villager trading hall to supply the group with the correct gear. _Goujon_ and Gsmack would be the first to do a raid to obtain totems, where then _Goujon_ built a raid farm near the base. On the nether side of the base _Goujon_ would build a ghast farm, where also a large area of the nether was slabbed off to maximize efficiency. This gave GS that important military power they would need.

Integral

This base was integral to GS's instant success on simpvp, though GS's quick success can be thanked by multiple factors such as their knowledge of base hunting, which allowed them to find old bases and obtain items, and discovering an abandoned endermen farm which supplied them with XP. Everything, along with GS Base 1, gave GS Trading Co. the ability to quickly climb the ladder and go on to achieve greater things.

Short Lived

GS Base 1 was short lived, by the end of June, Gsmack would plan a journey on traveling farther out to make a more secure base, Sternenfall Nochmal. The base was completely abandoned by July 1st, giving it only 18 days of activity. During December of 2020, Lord1 and his group discovered the abandoned base through its nether side, where it was subsequently blown up due to the war effort.
