Btw, these players have not understood what happened because Resuki has NEVER used xray, as he knows it is an external tool that provides an unfair advantage over the other players.

In the same way mining diamond ore seen in an unloaded chunk is bannable, the method Resuki used should be obviously bannable to anyone. Because he didnt know he was breaking the rules doesnt mean he should be unjailed. Yukar has stated many times in the past that ignorance is not an excuse for innocence(hes also stated multiple times the exact glitch he used was bannable anyways). By unjailing Resuki anyone on the server could claim ignorance to their actions and be unjailed. Also I hate mexicans, and hopefully Yukars inner Mr Garrison will agree :)

Except it's not at all like X-ray, instead being a consequence of world generation. If anything, this is similar to strip mining at certain y levels to maximize chance of getting an ore. While ignorance is not an excuse, it is the server's responsibility to make concise, clear, and obvious rules so that well-intentioned, innocent players don't get side-blinded by something they couldn't reasonably expect to know. Even as a seasoned player it can be super difficult to get non-vague answers from the admin team.

The difference between mining at a certain y value and the exploit in question is that in the case of mining at lets say y=11 is clearly intentional in that the developers specifically made diamonds appear at that level more than any other level, and the player still has no precise clue on the location of the diamonds, just the best method to find them, which is based on RNG. Being able to know exactly where to mine down and locate a vein of diamonds is literally xray with an extra step. Compared to caving or strip mining, the swamp technique clearly is a massive advantage that makes both previous methods completely useless, in the same way a dupe removes all reason for making farms or grinding. and I agree the servers rules could be more specific but in general it should be implied that you should ask an admin before doing basically anything on the server, even if you *think* the rules says its allowed. Thats why you, me, and GS aren't banned yet. At the end of the day, its Yukars server. If you dont like the rules, quit(which you actually did, so cool).

#FreedomForResuki is a popular movement that claims the unjailing of the player Resuki, which was jailed due to a rule that was not public in the in-game ruleset when he was jailed nor was intuitive.


Resuki has always been a peaceful and legitimate player, and one day he saw a video that showed how to get diamonds easily using chunks in a swamp biome. He had read the rules, and he didn't think about that method as an exploit (when it happened it was only specified as an exploit in the wiki and the forums of the server, which existence wasn't known by Resuki).

Then, at 3 A.M, when he was sleeping and with no previus warning, he was jailed. Their friends told the admin that they would return all the diamonds and all the gear they had bought with them in order to set Resuki free, who would never use that exploit again, now that he knows about that rule.

However, the admin kept firm in the jailing of Resuki.
