The Techno Union is a group founded by in_cognit0, MCUsya, and PLAYER__01 in May of 2021. The server landscape was quickly changing as The Republic, a once promising group, collapsed into inactivity and irrelevance, leaving these three players with one goal in mind: The creation of a new group dedicated to server neutrality and peace between factions for a greater future on SIMPVP.

Early Vision and Initial Days

The Techno Union was a plan thought up by PLAYER__01 and in_cognit0 after the gradual abandonment of Exultia, a former industrial powerhouse for The Republic, finally came to an end. With no future prospects at Exultia and no other allies to fall back on, in_cognit0 proposed the idea of a new group to exist as an intermediate between the clashing factions of the time. PLAYER__01 and MCUsya pledged their support and initial plans were drafted.

in_cognit0 wanted to create a group not bound by server politics but simply the idea of a "greater vision" in which players from different backgrounds could unite under one banner, pledging allegiance to the idea of "neutrality" in order to create a truly influential network of bases. Given the concept was somewhat unique and very much a "foreign" concept to simpvp (the idea that players could get along without drama and unite under a common cause for a lengthy period of time), PLAYER__01 suggested that the clan should hold a central concept of "futurism" and reflect this in our symbols, banners, architecture, etc. Thereby, the Techno Union was born with these goals in mind.

Immediately after the initial search for potential members, the creation of a discord server outlining the messages and goals of the Union, and solidifying the governing positions, in_cognit0 approached The Order of Wilbur and the Church of Francis to introduce them to the new group and begin the long discussion of mediation and diplomacy between the two rival clans. Although this idea was somewhat accepted by the OOW, the COF was more apprehensive, viewing the Union as something that could prohibit or inhibit its ability to function in the state that it was. Understanding the COF's concerns, in_cognit0 attempted a simple reformation to the diplomatic approach of the Union and, likewise, looked to clear up any confusion among observers to the development process. Yet, discussions dragged on with little more accomplished and in_cognit0 accepted this short term setback and looked to refine more of the internal information.

With his focus elsewhere, in_cognit0 developed the idea of setting the Union up as a confederacy of sorts, comprising many different bases looking to support the cause of neutrality on the server. Additionally, since in_cognit0 predicted that the absence of "server politics" would be upsetting to some potential members, he looked to setup an extensive domestic political system in which all members could take part in to alleviate any boredom and create a strong sense of domestic unity. With these institutions in place, the first network of bases, The Ailvalcea Group, under the leadership of LordPastaYT would join the Union and pledge its loyalty and dedication to the cause.

Another notable achievement was solidifying the support of the GS Trading Co.. in_cognit0 recruited SkullerG, Goujon, and Gsmack to serve as soldiers in the Armed Guard of the government. Likewise, 4Pilot was recruited to head spawn, restoration, and exploration projects in a similar vain to his role in The Republic.

However, the promising start would slowly start to vanish as MCUsya would go inactive and PLAYER__01 following soon after. This left just in_cognit0 alone to finish the creation of the rest of the group. With a lack of motivation to continue flying to a new base location, the collapse of the diplomatic institution (as Lord1 and ostrich1414 deemed it unnecessary), and the eventual inactivity of in_cognit0 himself, the Techno Union would be lost to history. Or so it was thought...

Revival

In mid July of 2022, after a year of inactivity, in_cognit0 would return to simpvp with the goal of fulfilling his clan. He began the long and arduous journey to a new base location, far out in the millions, to create one of the largest bases simpvp had ever seen: Aldera, the capital of the newly revived group. Immediately, in_cognit0 set to work on the expansive governing district, officially referred to as the Aldera Government Center in which he would recruit the building skills of Sengorn and LordPasta to aid him in the grand vision for this area. The area encompassed many of the vital buildings any governing entity would need such as a capital, public squares, ministry buildings, museums, and at the center of it all, a unique but impressive portal hub. in_cognit0 would bear the brunt of the intial basework creating the foundations for this district but also gathering materials and solidifying the base as an actually viable location.

The Reformation

Once the base itself was solidified and the group officially "revived", in_cognit0 realized that there was work to be done to adapt the group to the new server landscape. He undertook the reform of the official discord server, which after over a year of inactivity, needed maintenance and the simplification of the group's purpose and identity. The diplomatic portion of the Union, one of the founding principles of the initial group, was removed along with information that went too in-depth into domestic affairs, the group's role in foreign affairs, and undertook the consolidation of federal power under one role: The Chancellor. Likewise, the confederation system was revitalized and adapted to the new group. Two new groups would join the Union in this time period. Abista, led by KohukeSFR came to Aldera to help with the initial development of the industrial district and general resource gathering until joining the other group in its purpose. The Initiering Group, under the leadership of CRZNBZ was focused on the admission of new members utilizing a series of spawn bases. These two groups join the Ailvalcea Group in the confederation and expand membership, wealth, and influence.

in_cognit0 would take political and leadership advice from trusted allies at Valtava such as Porkington and VetoTheNeato, SkullerG in representation of GS Trading Co., and finally allies at OOW MoWobbler and Ostrich1414. These groups also offered substantial resource donations to aid in the construction of the Aldera megacity. As the reforms started to take shape, membership drastically increased from limited numbers in July and early August to considerably large numbers in contrast to other groups. Currently, the population stands above 20 members.

Plans for a Megacity

After about a month of work on the government district, and gathering immense building resources for future endeavors, in_cognit0 went exploring around the general terrain surrounding the government center. It was soon realized that this array of biomes was ideal for building many different projects. Thus, new project areas were declared and planned out. This saw the creation of the Aldera Financial City (the largest section of the base at this point), the Keeradak Industrial City, Techno City, Resort Town, Birch Coast City, Embassy Town, and the Military sector. While most of these projects are still on the drawing board, the eventual completion of all these projects will culminate in one of the largest cities on the server (given each projects general proximity).
