This is a page to keep track of day to day events related to SimPvP, including things which wouldn't be important enough for Server History or News. The record officially starts on January 1st, 2022, and events prior to then do not belong on this page.

January 2022
January 1st:
- MoWobbler hosts a fireworks event the moment that SimPvP's server date changes from December 31st, 2021 to January 1st, 2022.
- Ostrich1414 decides to create the newest iteration of the "Current Events" wiki series for 2022 even though it is still 2021 in his time zone.
January 4th:
- The Order of Wilbur officially withdraws from the G.S.F.W., bringing an end to the super-alliance.
January 11th:
- Jake276493 and MrNutInYourButt, founding members of YeeterMyPeeter, have their main and alt accounts jailed for allegedly “xraying portals and bases”.
January 15th:
- Following the jailing and subsequent perma-banning of jake276493 and MrNutInYourButt, YeeterMyPeeter officially disbands as a group.
January 17th:
- Laztec and TuataraBoots become the newest members of Civitrium
January 27th:
- Porkrinds4 is crowned King of Simpvp by Lord1. Coronation
- Gonmoose accidentally discovers Pangaea through an open portal in the nether; despite this, his sudden arrival is greeted with hospitality by Pangaea's members, and he turns out to be a friendly base hunter posing no harm to the city.
January 28th:
- TeamBees, frosthat, and Goujon grief Boolean Base after TeamBees x-rayed a portal to it, Goujon not knowing about the xrayed portal follows. This comes after drama between frosthat and his group, namely danimania and AngelsOfMercy, who had moved to a new location after frosthat leaked their coordinates.
February 2022
February 1st:
- The Order of Wilbur begins Phase II of Laztec's "Make Spawn Great Again" campaign, this time removing a large chunk of a lavacast in preparation for water removal.
- During a group photo in front of the lavacast being removed, 1Riot crystals and kills four geared players; however, he ends up apologizing and repaying them.
February 3rd:
- Laztec constructs the first successful six level sweeper for the MSGA, removing a much larger chunk of water at once.
February 13th:
- After over a year since TNT duping had been disabled on SimPvP, it returns in a smaller form, exclusively at spawn. TNT duping now works within a 2500x2500 area at spawn, and can only clear cobblestone to aid in the removal of lavacasts.
- Clipchip officially becomes the newest SimPvP admin.
February 28th:
- COF holds a parade to celebrate the 3rd International Lord1 day. Video
- Members from The 88, GS Trading Co. and The Order of Wilbur attend, Totalling to 20 people.
March 2022
March 5th:
- The second annual SimPvP Map Art Competition officially begins (more information here: [1]).
March 7th:
March 14th:
- The Snail is successfully watercubed by The Federation after being lavacasted once again by bruno_vera, finally preserving the structure.
March 16th:
- GS Trading Co. raids and griefs the Operators main base.
March 17th:
- Meme. is incorporated into the Church of Francis as a new legion.
April 2022
April 1st:
- Yukarion launches an OnlyFans for SimPvP: [2]
- After almost a year since resigning, ostrich1414 is once again reinstated as admin.
April 2nd:
- Voting day for the Map Art Competition begins, drawing 44 players to vote for the map arts of their choice.
- With 32 total votes, Lord1 and IAmTheSheriff's map art "Battle of Monarchia" wins the competition by a landslide.
April 4th:
- clipchip hosts a SimPvP version of r/place in the events world, allowing any and all users to come and place their own artwork, text, etc. on a blank canvas to create a 1x1 map.
April 23rd:
- SimPvP celebrates its 11 year anniversary.
- Capture the Sign April 2022 occurs in /world, albeit it to lower participation than previous years.
- GS Trading Co. ultimately wins the CTS event after successfully guarding the sign for one hour.
May 2022
May 1st:
- CarbonKing discovers that coordinates to his and Lord Pasta's base have been illegally gained through the use of malware, in which a player named Zaouski used malicious software he sent one of the base's members, Zarbey, to exploit the base's location--a first for SimPvP.
- This results in the full realization of The Zao incident, and shortly thereafter, the admins are called in to restore the base using the Base Restoration Policy and jail Zaouski.
May 3rd:
- LLx severely lavacasts end spawn; this comes after several months of removing the previous lavacasts that were left behind from 2021.
May 4th:
- The admins increase TNT duping's reach by enabling it serverwide in all dimensions, although it can still only destroy cobblestone and stone above Y=63.
May 9th:
- The city of New Yittrium officially changes its name to "Civitrium", with several of its districts breaking up into independent, sovereign city-states.
May 13th:
May 14th:
- A coronation and gathering is held at the Francillian city of Bestia Papa.
May 26th
- LLx is jailed for xraying portals
May 29th:
- The Cactus Shacktus is colonized by supreme749 and Lobster2337.
May 30th:
- An enderman was spinning beside dariepearjuice but then stopped before clipchip could see it.
May 31st
June 2022
June 4th:
- MoWobbler added the command: " /cat ", which displays a link to a funny cat video. In this video the cat looks like a seal, has dramatic zooming out effects, and plays the song popular song "Enemy" by Imagine Dragons. The popular meme is referred to as "Wawa Cat / Oh The Misery Cat" on knowyourmeme.com.
June 25th:
- Simpvp switches to a temporary map while the main map updates to 1.18.2.
July 2022
July 4th:
- Simpvp returns to the main map on 1.18.2.
July 6th:
July 29th:
- The Order of Wilbur celebrates its 8 year anniversary by hosting one event at Stonetown with the Church of Francis, and another separate event at Shadow Grove with OOW members only.
August 2022
August 2nd:
- Francillian base 'Name Pending' hosts a church ceremony with guests speakers such as Yukarion and ostrich1414.
August 4th:
- The Church of Francis starts and finishes their obsidian spawn temple, known as The Franthion.
August 5th:
- Laztec, with the help of many other players, completes construction of Terabyte, a large obsidian spawn build.
- Representatives from Church of Francis and Team Nova meet at Castle Black to formalise peace after 9 months of hostilities.
August 6th:
- The Church of Francis Holds 'SimPvP Boxout 2: Ring of Fire' near spawn, massing 24 total participants / spectators (largest gathering!)
- After winning a 1v4, server owner Yukarion takes the trophy of the second SimPvP Boxout.
August 18th:
- TheOnlySlash kills f8tal_ and Amakano in /world
August 19th:
- TheOnlySlash griefs Atherius.
August 20th:
- Laztec, with the help of many other players, completes construction of The Bridge.
August 28th:
- Laztec becomes the newest member of Aldera
September 2022
September 3rd:
- 15 Players gather at the ruins of Gibraltar castle for the inauguration of MrDavid99 as the new Pope of the Church of Francis.
September 8th:
September 11th:
- TheOnlySlash griefs Name Pending.
September 21st:
- The Dominion reforms and declares war on the Church of Francis.
October 2022
October 7th:
- Laztec becomes the newest member of Galeuw
October 19th:
- A new group called the Modern Communist Agency holds a meeting with Church of Francis diplomats at their first base, The Trench, to formalise their union into COF.
October 20th:
- f8tal griefs a large bridge at Spawn made by various players including Laztec and multiple Church of Francis members due to his belief that The Order of Wilbur was secretly defending TheOnlySlash.
October 21st:
- f8tal leaves COF with the intent that it will no longer be responsible for his actions.
October 27th:
- The wiki started experiencing technical issues around this time or in very early November and was inaccessible for over a week. It came back by November 10th.
November 2022
November 4th
- Most Deepstate Forge members join COF, subsequently the Deepstate Legion is formed with Swiggles residing as it's general.
November 7th
- The youtuber fastvincent1 uploads a video partly featuring SimPvP.
- After meeting at the Ketamine Accords, The Dominion and the Church of Francis enter a state of peace.
- The Third Siege is initiated.
November 10th
- The wiki goes back up after 14 days of downtime. Current Events 2022 is swiftly updated to include this critical information.
November 19th
- The Dominion grief Lpmaster123s base.
November 26th
- After an investigation into the griefing of Lpmaster123's base, the COF executes Agekka on charges of treason and espionage.
December 2022
December 5
- dacegod863 begins building at the abandoned OOW town Fern Springs.
December 27
- Players Hiiy and arrogancuh grief LordPastaYT's main base. Both are quickly killed by Laztec during the attack.
- The Supreme Cult Of Tem was formed.
