January 2023

January 1st:

• ostrich1414 hosts a series of New Year's celebration events.

January 2nd:

• xexc hosts a ceremony for his multi month hiatus from Simpvp, this event was held with most active members from Church_of_Francis and a few members from outside the Church.

His base was later griefed.

January 3rd:

• dacegod863 creates the wiki page Current Events 2023 after noticing that it is, in fact, 2023.

January 3rd:

• Laztec constructs SimPVP's Official Diplomatic Embassy at 0,0 in /world, where PVP is strictly forbidden and peaceful trade is encouraged.

January 9th:

• Laztec becomes a Sim PvP admin.

• TheOnlySlash defeats egnaroky and Antzakes1 in a 2v1 in /world, with both fleeing after egnaroky went through multiple totems. He later apologized for his actions.

• Forced by The Dominion, The Techno Union leadership is forced to sever ties with the Order of Wilbur and the Church of Francis to protect its own interests.

January 10th

• The governing body of Void City, having already annexed Poop City and Voidreach, annexes Nova Aeterna. As a result, the republic is reorganized into the first Void Empire, although there is no emperor.

January 11th:

• Oakmarten griefs the spawn city of Borjan in order to break the ultimatum held to Techno Union leadership. The Techno Union seeks to reform diplomatic ties between the Order of Wilbur and the Church of Francis.

January 13th:

• The Non-Aligned Coalition is formed by dacegod863, porkington, and in_cognit0 to serve the interests of neutral players through access to each founding members group.

January 18th:

• Hijax joins New Ishtar.

January 25th:

• The Conspiracy & The Dominion grief GS Trading Co.'s base Wasted Disk Space (WDS)

February 2023

February 6th:

• The Wyvernblade is disbanded by Nebuelaz after 2 years, due to all its members no longer being active and group stagnation.

February 14th:

• Hijax, Zsed12, and Lord1 Lead the Church_of_Francis into a raid against the dogsteve group, griefing their base and fighting with antzakes1.

February 17th:

• Wobbot surpasses 17,581 hours played, becoming the player with the most hours online.

February 23rd:

• The Church_of_Francis official Senate was greenlit.

March 2023

March 28th

• Hijax is kicked from Church_of_Francis for unknown reasons (at the time). Hijax's base, III Kroses, is griefed by Antzakes1.

March 30th'

• The members of New Ishtar abandon the base for security reasons.

March 31st'

• The former members of New Ishtar found Eros.

April 2023

April 1st

• Nexus (formerly called Dominate) was founded

April 2nd

• Hijax would be killed by _swiggles_ in a trap operation, he would be banned from the COF Discord server, and in the later hours, a battle would take place at Hole Base. Many of Hijax's old bases would be griefed, most notably Valleria

April 6th

• sav5 and SonicJacob join Eros.

April 16th

• Lpmaster123 is jailed for using a "boob mod" which could be used to x-ray players.

April 19th

• The Order of Wilbur founds a new base, Denali

May 2023

May 2nd

• TheMustacheKing joins The Order of Wilbur as their 14th member

May 4th

• oakmarten joins The Order of Wilbur as their 15th member

July 2023

July 20th

• At precisely 8:14 pm EST, Antzakes1 opens fire on dacegod863 in /world. The sporadic duel continues for the next hour and seventeen minutes, attracting a small crowd of observers. Antzakes1 eventually becomes tired and retreats. This crushing victory for the Non-Aligned Coalition will live in infamy.

July 31st

• Vulcan is founded by Hijax

August 2023

August 24th

• Kimle joins Vulcan, being the second member, and first member to be invited.

September 2023

September 18th

• Lord1 and OxTxXTXxTxO sign a treaty formally ending The Wasp War.

October 2023

October 1st

• TheOnlySlash gets sectioned.
• On October 16th, 2023, the most influential and important figure to join simpvp, ostrich1414 was jailed after purposefully carpet duping, in an effort to quit the server once and for all

November 2023

November 19th

• Hayansaeg joins TSCOT
• Hiiy joins TSCOT

November 25th

• The Civil War ends
• Sav5 is crowned King of SimPvP
• The Church of Francis disbands

November 26th

• Hijax peacefully leaves TSCOT
• ItzPalo joins TSCOT

December 2023

December 11th

• Hijax is crowned King by Sav5 for no apparent reason.
