The Pippenger National History Museum is an extensive museum dedicated to server history located at Void City. Owned by Ostrich1414 and managed by Korijenkins, the museum houses various examples of artifacts and architecture from various bases on the server, with over 30 bases being represented in some capacity. While many of the artifacts on display are replicas, the large scale exhibits of server architecture were all manually moved from the abandoned bases they resided in to the museum for preservation.
History
The Pippenger National History Museum was a project originally planned for construction at Belgium before the decision was made to move it to Void City. Ostrich had long desired to make a proper extensive museum at a base that covered broad ranges of server history, and due to the frequent destruction of his large city bases, was unable to do so. Korijenkins invited ostrich to Belgium for the purpose of creating a large underground museum, but due to the logistics problems created by the Belgium ocean draining project, plans never advanced out of the ideas phase. When Void City was founded, making a large museum became a much more feasible idea for the two. Originally planned to feature as a modern styled art gallery, Korijenkins made the decision to remodel it into something more grand and historic, and it transformed into an enormous repurposed cathedral reminiscent of Notre-Dame.
In February of 2021, the decision to move the large quantity of map art and banners to a secondary museum was made due to the sheer increase in the amount being produced. While it would have been possible to store every map art on the server in the art section of the museum, by February it was no longer possible even when removing low effort map arts or propaganda pieces. The first floor art gallery was remodeled into a gift shop and the upper floors were closed off and new architectural display spaces were added.
Around this time the cathedral spire was restored with a spire from the Glowstone Tower serving as a replacement for the original which was destroyed. Kori also started using a new shaderpack around this time and doesn't feel like going back and replacing all of the images currently uploaded.
In August of 2021, the museum reached a state of completion sufficient to warrant it being copied onto the events map for public tours to be offered via events hosting.
Layout
The museum is by far the most extensive collection of server history on Sim PvP, dozens of bases, groups, all map art, and all major group banners being represented on various floors. All of the architecture on display are original pieces brought from the bases they were dismantled from the location they originated from and reconstructed block for block in their respective displays. Each of the 5 floors, excusing the first floor due to the presence of the entrances on each side of the building, contain 7-9 major architectural pieces, 1 large centerpiece, and 14 artifact displays amounting to well over 100 different examples of server history, not counting the base map section in the basement.
The majority of the artifacts gathered were provided by Korijenkins and ostrich1414, with some contributions coming from other Void City members.

This wool was recovered from Syracusai, allegedly belonging to the sheep worshiped there. The sheep in question was blown up by Korijenkins during the grief of the base.
When ostrich1414 was first made an admin, few expected him to use his powers responsibly. This grass block is one of eleven, spawned in by ostrich in a blatant abuse of power.
North Koria was a group started in March of 2019 by Korijenkins. The original base, also North Koria, was first reached by Korijenkins sailing to the location in this boat after exiting the nether highway.
When Two Words was griefed by the Republic in 2020, Korijenkins stumbled across this egg. Supposed to serve as a reminder for Lord1 to stop dying to TheOnlySlash, it was stolen, and Lord1 has continued to die.
Spawn is the most heavily devastated and explored region of the server, with the destruction only growing as one approaches 0,0. These diamonds were found less than 5 blocks from Spawn unmined, a rare occurrence on a 9 year old server.
During the First Siege, allies were hard to come by for members of the group. One indirect ally, who wished to remain publicly neutral, was the SFR MAFIA, who provided the Siege members with golden carrots in secret.
For a brief period in Spring 2020, ostrich1414 brought his girlfriend (then named miss_ostrich1414) to the server to play with him. They primarily explored bases together, so her spawnpoint was temporarily set at Estevez in this bed. Unfortunately, miss_ostrich1414's time on SimPvP would be cut short; she soon lost interest in the game, and the two eventually broke up because she's a fucking cunt.
These shears were used to groom the sheep worshiped at Syracusai before it was blown up. The destruction of Syracusai marked the effective end of the Fellowship of the Kittens.
The Dominion was a major participant in the Intervention War, with TheOnlySlash leading them to several victories. This bow was used by TheOnlySlash in various battles of the war.
When TIGOOHNTATOT was founded by TheOnlySlash and Korijenkins as an extension of North Koria, few expected the base would become anything impressive. The financial district was particularly ugly, and was destroyed in a terrorist attack. This is the lone surviving block remaining from the terrorist attack on one of the two towers. When the Mia Khalifa and Wiz Khalifa collapsed, TIGOOHNTATOT was doomed, and the base was abandoned, proving the naysayers right.
This banner representing the Church of Francis came from the victory party held at Virunum. The Church of Francis was defeated and humiliated.
This banner representing the Order of Wilbur came from the victory party held at Virunum. The Order of Wilbur won the Holy Wilbur-Francis War and humiliated the Church.
First Floor Exhibits Gallery
Eden is widely known as one of the first bases constructed on the server after the first and only map reset. Because of how well-known the base became, it became a frequent target of griefers as well as a location many players made a pilgrimage to. 9 years of griefing have left the base in absolute shambles. This section of roof is all that remains of the original Eden docks.
One of the most iconic megacities of 2019, Yittrium was a base that asserted itself through sheer size, wealth, and imperial power. Of course, Yittrium was not without its drama, both within the city and outside; the above exhibit is a memorial commemorating the Passione Street Bombing, a terrorist attack committed by AntHand in the suburbs neighborhood of Yittrium. As such, this memorial stands as an icon to Yittrium's checkered past.
North Koria was founded in early 2019 by Korijenkins. While not a particularly large base, it was located in a fantastic area for potential expansion. This was cut short when ostrich1414 destroyed the base in retaliation for the griefing of Struthio. The banner hanging is one of the original North Korian banners that survived the grief of the base. The lamp post is one of two that illuminated the area just outside the entrance of North Koria's tower.
A spur-of-the-moment spawn landmark, Craftablia was founded in November 2019 and primarily consists of one building material: crafting tables. Although originally started as a solo project for ostrich1414, Craftablia soon drew the interest of many more players, resulting in the collaborative creation of a massive crafting table-laden biome. Most crafting tables were donated by SFR and Sengorn_Leopard, as the one shown in this exhibit.
Founded in 2011 by snowfrog43 near Spawn, Castle Snowfrog escaped major destruction for almost 8 years before being severely griefed by The_Lucky_Lapin in just 4 hours. The base was later the site of a major battle in the Holy Wilbur-Francis War. The first efforts at repairing the base came in 2019 when snowfrog43 logged in for the first time in months to a destroyed base. More repair efforts were continued in 2020 to great success by The Republic, however in 2021 the base would meet its final doom as Azdin began removing it completely as part of his effort to remove every base near Spawn. Perhaps fittingly, what remained of the base was lavacasted one final time by 4Pilot, ending the story of Castle Snowfrog after over 9 years.
When Struthio was griefed by jared2013 and Korijenkins in mid-2019, one notable structure was left largely untouched. The Aether Tower was built by Sengorn_Leopard throughout the end of 2018. Perhaps due to its sheer size or stunning appearance, the Aether Tower was left alone after Struthio was abandoned and griefed. This brazier comes from the tower, having been recovered over a year after the initial grief of Struthio.
