This is a page to keep track of day to day events related to SimPvP, including things which wouldn't be important enough for Server History or News. The record officially starts on January 1st, 2021, and events prior to then do not belong on this page.

January 2021

January 1st:

• The server's physical host location, French Polynesia, entered 2021, prompting Burger_Malone to update the page. This was the highlight of their New Years Day.
• A large battle takes place in the PvP world between members of the Church of Francis and the People's Coalition, with no conclusive results.

January 3rd:

• Burger_Malone completes an 8x6 Map Art, the largest on the server so far.
• The Church of Francis griefs the YeeterMyPeeter base Axetown.

January 5th:

• ElectricChugg, willowienal, and AntiFreezeFluid officially join Quabbin.

January 11th:

• AntHand, ostrich1414, Sellout9, Zepheron, and 4Pilot, on behalf of the People's Coalition, raid and annex the base Three Words, Lord1 and Tenced's main city.

January 12th:

• Korijenkins and ostrich1414 annex Poop City, removing it entirely and relocating it to Void City where it will be on display indefinitely.

January 13th:

• After four and a half years, DakkaDok officially steps down as SimPvP admin.

January 18th:

• The People's Coalition raids and annexes Pepe's Holy Land, a base created by MrMeeps and Church of Francis member TomixPlayz.

January 19th:

• After the base is discovered by 2b2t players, ostrich1414 and Zepheron grief the City of the Divine Lord, Wilbur (Wilburia) before the others can grief it.

January 24th:

• Plugin portal frames can now be built with crying obsidian.

January 28th:

• After days of negotiation, The Imperial War finally comes to an end as the People's Coalition and the Church of Francis officially agree to mutual peace.
  • A small peace conference is held at Gibraltar Castle, a former base griefed by the PC at the start of the war back in December 2020. Members from both the PC and the COF attend the summit and sign treaties.
• The Trade Federation is formed.

February 2021

February 7th:

• The Francillian Freindship Work Camp (FFCW) is established by the Holy States of Francis, bringing several new players to the base as slaves and forcing them to mine stone, while giving them supplies, food, and shelter.

February 12th:

• 4Pilot discovers Azdin actively griefing Castle Snowfrog manually. After driving him off, 4Pilot decided to lavacast what remained of the castle to prevent Azdin from doing further damage.
• In a related incident, SkullerG further decimates Azpipia, which had already been heavily damaged in 2020.

February 15th:

• Ostrich1414 founds Riverwood, a small base made for new players. Three new players are immediately brought there the day of its founding.

February 16th:

• Tenced becomes the Supreme General of HSOF by stealing the Supreme General Sword from Lord1 after a pvp that also involved James8B.

February 18th:

• 4Pilot's refurbished end portal pyramid is griefed by an unknown player, although many point to e_lee as the culprit.
• Azdin National Park is created near spawn by ostrich1414, Lord1, SkullerG, 4Pilot, and iLxgend. The park is made by igniting hundreds of stacks of TNT and creating dozens of withers, as well as a few lavacasts.

February 26th:

• A minor incident takes place at Riverwood in which vandalism from The Order of Wilbur is discovered on the Holy States of Francis's temple, resulting in the HSOF to retaliate and spread their own vandalism throughout the town. However, the incident is resolved swiftly and peace is made.

February 28th:

• International Lord1 Day.

March 2021

March 2nd:

• An entity malfunction at The Commonwealth's gold farm brings the server's TPS down to 1 and FPS to 0, forcing ostrich1414 to implement a whitelist with a minimum of 8,200 hours in order to fix it.

March 3rd:

• After 8 years, 9 months, and 2 days, Ralph returns to the server, blessing SimPvP and its community with his presence.

March 5th:

• The first ever Map Art Competition begins on SimPvP (more information here: [1])

March 20th:

• MoWobbler becomes the newest SimPvP admin.

March 23rd:

• After BossCoww beats clipchip's time on The Spawn Challenge for the first time since 2017, the "DO NOT TRUST CLIPCHIP" sign is promptly changed to "YMP WIN POOP LOL :-)".

March 27th:

• A few days after BossCoww's high score, _Goujon_ manages to beat him in The Spawn Challenge, thus replacing the "YMP WIN POOP LOL :-)" sign with "_GOUJON_ LOVES FORTNITE".

March 28th:

• Ostrich1414 creates the spawn landmark Iron Block.

March 29th:

• After weeks of discussion regarding Korijenkins' proposed Base Restoration Policy, Yukarion rules that Three Words, a city previously discovered using a now-illegal exploit, is to be restricted to those who gained access utilizing the exploit and its coordinates privatized. This becomes the first base to be restored with this new policy.

March 31st:

• A few days after _Goujon_'s high score, MoWobbler manages to beat his time for The Spawn Challenge, beating him by a mere two seconds. The spawn message is thus replaced from "_GOUJON LOVES FORTNITE" to "WE MISS TALKSALOT".
• The submission period for the Map Art Competition officially ends.

April 2021

April 1st:

• Yukarion rebrands the server as "SimPvE", disabling pvp across the server and turning /world into a peaceful meetup area.
• Voting for the Map Art Competition takes place in a polling station designed by iLxgend, with 13 official Map Art submissions and over 45 active voters.
  • After the votes are counted, iLxgend's map art, "SimPvP", is declared the winner, with 28 votes. It is placed on display at spawn.

April 4th:

• Cavehoe is jailed for Rule 3, the first punishment for Rule 3 in the history of the server, and Korijenkins hosts a small party at End Spawn in celebration.

April 5th:

• Three different server parties are held throughout the day: one at End spawn, one at Riverwood, and one at a man-made void chunk near spawn.

April 7th:

• GS rebuilds Nether Spawn whilst HSOF eliminates all Nether Spawn Withers.
• HSOF hosts a PvP tournament where the 3 legions of the Grand Army compete against each other in the 3 Words arena.

April 17th:

• The Spanish Inquisition conquers and annexes Quagsmaria.

April 19th:

• The Order of Wilbur founds their new headquarters, São Porco.

April 22nd:

• After many years, the iconic rectangular glass casing around spawn is completely removed, turning the enclosed protected zone into a completely open-air area.
  • During this event, a large party is held at spawn, with over a dozen attendees.
• VetoTheNeato declares the start of the "Summer of Veto", becoming a small meme. Only time will tell if the claim will prove true.

April 23rd:

• Simplicity PvP somehow turns 10 years old, reaching double-digits before a majority of the regular playerbase.
• Segoria is severely griefed by clipchip, ending the city's nearly two year long lifespan.

April 24th:

• Capture the Sign April 2021 is hosted, being the latest iteration in the Capture the Sign series.
  • With assistance from GS Trading Co. and YeeterMyPeeter, _Goujon_ wins the event after an hour and 57 minutes.
• Porkington began the first real building of Valtava, intended to become the greatest base after Segoria. The city infrastructure had been in preparation for months but real construction had not begun yet.

April 29th:

• GS Trading Co. heavily griefs End Spawn with withers.

May 2021

May 2nd:

• Ostrich1414 hosts the Server Party at Quabbin, an event that took place at the abandoned city of Quabbin after the coords had been purposefully leaked for partygoers, heavily inspired by the previous Server Party at Quinsigamond. In total, 27 players show up to the party, and it lasts roughly an hour and a half.
  • Much of the party is composed of OperatorUltra attacking and ambushing the other guests, with end crystals and respawn anchors frequently being used to try to kill them. OperatorUltra ends up killing three players: iLxgend, con_architect, and ostrich1414. Area 69, AntHand's district of Quabbin, is also severely griefed by clipchip.

May 3rd:

• The Holy States of Francis officially declares war on the Confederacy of Man.

May 4th

• The FuckOstrichForces is officially formed

May 5th:

• The Spanish Inquisition turns 1 year old

May 10th:

• The Techno Union, a large peace organization headed by in_cognit0, officially goes public after many months behind the scenes building up its operations.

May 12th:

• SimPvP experiences a major server crash and is offline for roughly six hours; the cause of the crash has yet to be determined.

May 17th:

• Four members of the Confederacy of Man raided & griefed Nova Prostate, a abandoned small scale factory base. Xexc (who at the time was insiding the Confederacy) used this base supplied by Lord1 to gain their trust.

May 19th:

• 12 members of H.S.O.F raided & griefed Nueva Confederada (Confederacy of Man's capital city). The operation was lead by General Xexc (who also got their coords) & Supreme General Lord1.
  • HSOF claims victory over Confederacy-Francis War, Confederacy of Man disputes this despite being homeless & poor.

May 23rd:

• A minor incident occurs when the Holy States of Francis discover that Ragdety, a new member, had been secretly basing with Agent_23 (GentleGiant69), who was a major enemy of theirs. This came a few days after Ragdety had been kicked out of YeeterMyPeeter for compromising their bases, with Ragdety now being kicked out of the HSOF. Shortly thereafter, Ragdety would announce his departure from SimPvP.

May 26th:

• Shortly after Resuki is jailed for using the clay patch diamond mining exploit, Nikoxlas founds the FreedomForResuki movement, rallying for the support of the SimPvP playerbase.

May 28th:

• The Holy States of Francis griefs Turremius after gaining the coordinates from Josua5431.

June 2021

June 7th:

• The Order of Wilbur and the Holy States of Francis officially become allies together after being rivals for over two years. The alliance is cemented by an official summit meeting held by the two parties, in which both ostrich1414 and Lord1 signed a treaty on behalf of their respective teams. Many members from both teams participated at the summit, drawing over a dozen attendees.

• YeeterMyPeeter along with Rumpslem, and others, finish their obsidian platform covering all of /world, causing for any player to spawn on the platform when going to /world. The project took over 54,000 obsidian to complete.

June 10th:

• As the Holy States of Francis prepared to inaugurate Lord1 as their new Pope, YeeterMyPeeter unexpectedly arrived at the location of the ceremony and attacked the gathered players. A hour long battle ensued which resulted in 2 HSOF deaths and 1 YMP death, eventually YMP fled the battle. The chapel was destroyed and the HSOF was forced to postpone the inauguration until a later time.

June 18th:

• Arcania, one of the oldest ungriefed bases on SimPvP (around nine years old), is griefed by 1590283112. This stems from an argument between him, DKC, and 4Pilot, due to the former two being trade blockaded by GS Trading Co., with Arcania being griefed in retaliation.

June 21st:

• Francoin system is created by the Holy States of Francis. The virtual coin, which can be used in several places, begins with success
• Talksalot011 returns to SimPvP and builds the Resurrection church with his followers.

June 29th:

• YeeterMyPeeter severely griefs Riverwood after the coordinates are leaked by talksalot011. This comes due to their mutual distaste for the Holy States of Francis.
• _Goujon_ beats a time of 2:35 on the Spawn Parkour Challenge set by MoWobbler and achieves 2:34

July 2021

July 1st:

• After a vote in the Imperial Senate, the Holy States of Francis changes to the Empire of Francis, governed by the Emperor (Lord1).
  • The Church of Francis is also reformed, but is exclusively religious. You can join the Empire, but you follow the Church. It is run by the Pope (Xexc).

July 7th:

• After a year and a half, ostrich1414 officially resigns as a server admin.

July 10th:

• The Church of Francis and GS Trading Co. severely griefs Cope Town, a base founded by 1590283112 and DKC, after being discovered by SkullerG.

July 21st:

• 1590283112 severely griefs Larpia, a base founded by LidGuy and LLx, after being given the coords by 8mike upon discovering a portal leading there.

July 22nd:

• Due to an error while hosting an old event, Yukarion accidentally teleports all players on the server into the events world, causing a chaotic scene in which several fully-geared players were able to fly around the events world before being teleported back to their previous locations.
• Skirmishes in /world occur with 1590283112, jake276493, and Lord1 after a small unscheduled server party occurs in /world, where Lord1 gets killed by 1590283112 using crystals, eventually _Goujon_ joins and the two fight in /world against 1590283112 and jake276493, after about 15 minutes of fighting above the obsidian platform they all quickly move down under where things start to get intense. 159 leaves the fight for awhile whilst Jake fights Goujon and Lord1, once 159 comes back they all battle it out on a cobblestone platform. 1590283112 dies by Lord1 and jake276493 pops his own totem before being able to flee the fight. July 29th:

• YeeterMyPeeter finds and griefs Pigster444's main base.

August 2021

August 1st:

• /World was updated to a world created by 4Pilot.

August 2nd:

• The new world would be completely covered in water by a project led by SkullerG and Aluminisim, breaking the spawn point and not allowing anyone to join /world.
• Later that day, MoWobbler would add a bedrock platform to fix the spawning issue. After 1590283112 camped the platform denying any player of entry, MoWobbler Worldedited out all of the water which fixed the spawning issue of the world.

August 5th:

August 7th:

• Ostrich1414 on behalf of The Order of Wilbur, and Nikoxlas on behalf of the Confederacy of Man, organize a minor conference in Yittrium to discuss diplomacy.

August 11th

• The Confederacy Capital City (CCC) is founded, with more than 10 players participating in it. It is meant to be the next capital city of the Confederacy of Man.

August 15th:

• Ostrich1414, 4Pilot, and MoWobbler create a series of lavacasts over an ocean near spawn, forming a large mountain range.
• 1590283112 severely griefs and lavacasts Quabbin

August 19th:

• A newer player to SimPvP, known as Lobster2337's pet turtle named Kevin died after an attack of 2 creepers. Truly a sad day. From now on August 19th will be known as Kevin Memorial Day.
  • According to Nebuelaz himself, he had sent the creepers to kill Kevin.
• A long pvp battle took place in /world between members of the Empire of Francis and the Confederacy of Man. Lord1 and MrDavid99 fought Nikoxlas with no casualties from neither side, after regearing, Nikoxlas fought Lord1 for roughly half an hour. As it was a sword fight in the water, no one even popped totems.
• Balls Town was founded by DKC and Lobster2337

August 21st:

• Ostrich1414 and AntiFreezeFluid found the island city of Gosnold for The Order of Wilbur.

August 23rd:

• Nikoxlas fought jake and Sellout9 in /world. Then he regeared and returned to fight Sellout9 alone, after a brief battle Nikoxlas got crystalled to death. He ragequit and went to eat hake sticks
• Sternenfall Nochmal, GS Trading Co.'s main base is found and severely griefed by YeeterMyPeeter. A video of the grief can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0IAsza704A
• The GS Trading Co. x Church of Francis x Order of Wilbur alliance griefs the former YeeterMyPeeter base Skyreach, which had been leaked months prior, in response to their griefing of Sternenfall Nochmal.
  • During the grief, a minor skirmish occurs between the griefers and jake276493 of YMP, who at the time was using e_lee's account; however, the only casualty is ostrich1414, who accidentally blows himself up by placing TNT next to a respawn anchor.
• Nebuelaz, jake276493, and MrNutInYourButt found the base Ymperia.

August 25th:

• DKC joins the The Wyvernblade as the Minister of War
• MoWobbler adds the new command /friedcactus to the server.

August 26th:

• Clipchip and ostrich1414 both hit 10,000 hours played on SimPvP. They become the only two players to achieve this after Yukarion, with clipchip hitting 10k second and ostrich1414 hitting 10k third.
• 1590283112 and DKC found Copetopia

August 27th:

• The Church of Francis griefs two Confederacy of Man bases, Confederacy Capital City (CCC) and Phoenix, as well as one of 1590283112 and DKC's long abandoned bases, Cope Cave.

August 28th:

• Several members of São Porco self raid and grief the city before abandoning it permanently.

August 30th:

• The Confederacy of Man is officially disbanded.

September 2021

September 6th:

• DKC is jailed for autoclicking ghost blocks inside of spawn

September 10th:

• The server crashes around 8:30 P.M. (EST) on September 9th, and does not come back online again until around 8:30 A.M. (EST) the following morning, resulting in roughly 12 full hours of downtime.
• FreedomForDKC is created in an attempt to shorten his jail from 1 year to 1 month

September 13th:

• Korijenkins, dariepearjuicy, ostrich1414, and iLxgend manage to all sleep at the same time and skip the night, a first on SimPvP in a long time.

September 14th:

• Korijenkins becomes the newest SimPvP admin.

September 15th:

• Today marks the ten year anniversary of SimPvP's one and only Map Reset, which occurred on September 15th, 2011.

September 21st:

• GS Trading Co.'s third and currently main base is raided and destroyed by YMP.
• Lord1 won the 2021 poll for greatest Emperor in history!

September 22nd:

• _Goujon_ is temporarily jailed for Rule 3.

September 24th:

• IAmTheSheriff Wins Spleef Without Doing Anything.

October 2021

October 1st:

• F8tal_ hosts a boxing event for all G.S.F.W. members to attend; Lord1 and xexc emerge as the first and second place winners of the event, respectively.
• OperatorUltra, OperatorLucid, and OperatorDeimos severely grief the spawn city Gosnold, removing roughly 90% of the city's buildings and reverting it back to natural terrain.
  • In the midst of their griefing, the Operators are suddenly ambushed by 1590283112 and jake276493. later on vv101zeli, and 4Pilot show up, the fight ends with 1590283112 killing OperatorLucid, and OperatorDeimos killing vv101zeli - A video of the fight can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-zXuM7nt7w

October 2nd:

• GS Trading Co. raids and griefs Copetopia, although they are discovered by 1590283112 in the midst of it.

October 11th:

• GS Trading Co. raids The Conspiracy's main base.

October 19th:

• The server officially updates to 1.17.1

October 20th:

• 1590283112 finds and griefs 4Pilot's portal hub

October 27th

• Lobster2337 and _DKC rebuild Grasstle but it was shortly griefed and the Church of Francis was framed for the grief

October 31st

• Lobster2337 and _DKC rebuild The Simpsons House at the exact location it was on the old server

November 2021

November 6th:

• popbob rejoins the server after 10 years of inactivity.

November 23rd:

• Korijenkins breeds the server's first blue axolotl, only obtainable through breeding at a 1/1200 chance. He names it Blueberry.
• The Order of Wilbur creates a giant obsidian Tyrannosaurus rex near spawn.

November 24th:

• Shortly after Korijenkins breeds the first blue axolotl on Sim, DKC uses 48 diamond blocks mined by The 88's own bitcoin miner Terrortie to buy one of the rare creatures. This makes him the 2nd person on the server to ever own one of the elusive animals. He named it Mudkip.
• The Order of Wilbur begins work on a giant obsidian Snail near spawn, but they are soon joined by over a dozen other players for help, significantly increasing the work output on the statue.
  • During the construction of the snail, several fights break out, including one major one in which Sellout9 and jake276493 team up to attack and kill several players. Kills are also secured in battle by Lord1, danimania, and DKC. Ironically, during these intense battles, the snail was still actively being constructed.

November 25th:

• Another major fight breaks out during construction of the obsidian Snail, this time resulting in back-to-back deaths of both Sice_01 and danimania, after danimania tried to sabotage the project. A few hours later, however, the snail is completed.

November 26th:

• The Order of Wilbur and some former players from Uneasy Vanilla found the city of Pangaea.

November 27th:

• The Snail is severely lavacasted by danimania; although several players come to its aid in an attempt to destroy the lavacast and free the statue, the project is ultimately futile due to the lavacast's size and density.

December 2021

December 5th:

• Solium is raided and griefed by an unknown player, although members of the base first accuse Lpmaster123 of the crime, bedtrapping him.

December 7th:

• DakkaDok is reinstated as an admin on SimPvP, after almost a year long hiatus.

December 9th:

• Ostrich1414 and Laztec create several obsidian statues and structures within the new 100x100 no-lavacasting zone at spawn.
  • During this, danimania arrives in an attempt to sabotage the project, but is soon crystalled and killed by DKC.
• The Order of Wilbur officially publicizes its membership list for the first time in six years.

December 12th:

• YeeterMyPeeter members jake276493, MrNutInYourButt, and e_lee fully loot and annex Aluminisin's main base, LagVale.

December 14th:

• After killing the rebels Danimania and Frostshat, Father Corleone is promoted to Supreme General of the Grand Army of Francis.

December 29th:

• Korijenkins, TheOnlySlash, and DakkaDok become the first players to reach the End world border after many months of flying.
